The relation between self-knowledge and theology is one of the most important issues in the field of cognition of man and theology. This is important to the extent that in our narrative societies, we have given many traditions to this issue, such as the noble Hadith "everyone who knows himself, has known his Lord". Considering the importance of self-knowledge and its effect on the identification of the Lord, the present article, using an analytical-descriptive method, to achieve the effect of self-knowledge on the recognition of the Lord, firstly refers to the four-dimensional views that Allameh Hassanzadeh has presented from the hadith of self-knowledge and then reviewed the semantic implications of human attributes on the attributes of the Lord in the field of both beauty and glory attributes, and it has been concluded that, for example, the recognition of beauty attributes such as science, power, life, and …, and the recognition of glory attributes such as Failure to combine, lack of sight, lack of soliloquy and unity, lack of notion and neglect, and ... in human, it is possible to recognize such qualities in the Lord.

The feeling of self-esteem, dignity, and glory that has long been dealt with as both reprehensible and praised in religious and revelation-based ethical texts has been regarded in modern psychology texts as self-esteem and only in a positive sense, for which many components, signs, and outcomes have been mentioned. Study of Makarim al-akhlaq Prayer in Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, as a valid text of revelation ethics, indicates the special attention by Imam Sajjad (PBUH) to many factors such as forgiveness and remission, praying for the improvement and cure of other people's viciousness, strengthening self-respect and self-esteem, and purposefulness as well as perfection of the intentions. These issues can be seen in modern psychology as a discussion called self-esteem, where modern science has reached an angle of those through requirements through sensory experience. At the same time, there is a major difference between the approach taken by Makarim al-akhlaq Prayer and psychology to the factors, differentiating the two text types and causing differences in some commands. The study of the requirements of modern psychology and ethics, on the one hand, reflects the different worldview of revelation-based texts with modern science, and on the other hand, indicates the fact that the musts of obtaining eternal prosperity are not only compatible with material gains but are also in line with material gains.

By this knowledge, entity and essence of human will be distinguished from other animals. The writer of this assay has tried to explain the nature and quality of human destiny from Allameh tabatabai’s point of view. Allameh in his various books- especially in Commentary of Almizan holds very profound ideas about the nature and destiny of human being. In short, from his point of view, knowing human nature get us to know human destiny because human is both an infinite creature and religious existent. It is clear that this kind of entity has a free will to choose his destiny. In other words, freewill and religion orientation of human are necessary for his creation and nature, and his perfection lies in observing religion.
