Abstract

Among the vast wealth of knowledge and literature, amidst all writers, poets, and jurists, there are poets whose poetry is a complete reflection of the verses, conduct, and teachings of the infallibles (AS). We clearly observe the influence of Quranic verses and the words of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in their poetry, and it can be said that their poetry is a theological and doctrinal encyclopedia of Quranic verses and Shiite beliefs. These poets have succeeded in presenting Quranic verses, the teachings, and traditions of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) beautifully and effectively in the form of poetry. Analyzing these valuable literary works can play a significant role in understanding and transmitting Islamic concepts and teachings. It can also serve as a rich source for a better understanding of Shiite thoughts and beliefs.

This article, using a descriptive and analytical method and intertextuality theory, examines the Quranic verses, traditions, and narrations of the infallibles (AS) in the poetry of "Sheikh Hussein Aal Najaf." The studies conducted show that Sheikh Hussein Aal Najaf, as a jurisprudent poet, has been able to express the traditions and teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in a very beautiful and effective way by utilizing the capacities of poetic language. By employing literary and rhetorical points in his poetry, he has excellently reflected and presented the verses, hadiths, and conduct of the infallibles (AS) to his audience. The poet's use of verses and hadiths has enhanced his poetic power and enriched the content of his poetry.
