The fourteenth prayer of Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya is an exemplar of encountering injustice and oppressors based on reliance upon God. The objective of this study is to identify the prayer's themes and discover their relationships. In other words, this research seeks to answer how the fourteenth prayer of Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya elucidates the oppressed's method of encountering injustice and the oppressor. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and Braun and Clarke's reflexive thematic analysis method, which explores the prayer's themes without imposing the researcher's viewpoint, contributing to the novelty of this research compared to similar studies. Data analysis led to the extraction of 39 basic themes, 8 organizing themes, and 3 global themes. The three global themes include "Encounter with God (Ideological Foundation)", "Encounter with the Oppressor (Defensive Reaction)", and "Encounter with the Oppressed Self (Purification and Guidance of the Self)". The findings indicate that all three types of the oppressed's encounter with injustice and the oppressor revolve around God and reliance upon Him, unfolding in three simultaneous, interconnected domains. In this supplication, "Encounter with God" serves as the epistemological foundation, "Encounter with the Oppressor" arises from that foundation and remains within its framework, and "Encounter with the Oppressed Self" is achieved solely through that monotheistic foundation. This tripartite relationship demonstrates the integration of seeking justice, resistance, and purification as the primary and distinct message of this supplication.
