Intercession, referring to mediating for the forgiveness of the sins of sinners, has been continuously the focus of attention for various Islamic sects. If intercession, as understood by the masses, indeed exists in the divine system, it would be in contradiction with divine justice, and it would violate of divine law. On the other hand, Allah the Most Merciful in the Holy Quran in verses 48 and 123 of al-Baqqārah rejects intercession, zar and zur as existing in the divine system, but in many verses, especially verse 44 of surah al-Zumar, it is clear that intercession exists and is exclusive to Allah and His agents In this essay, the author first explains the concept of intercession from the perspective of verses and narratives, and then examines the views of Allamah Tabataba’i and a number of the Islamic thinkers through an analytical method.

Scholars do not agree regarding the order of the Quran as miraculous. Early scholars have considered order in its literal and rhetorical sense and have limited it to grammar. However, later scholars have expanded the notion by adding methodology and symmetry, and have taken into account unity of the entirety of a Surah and finally the Quran itself. To this end, the proponents of opponents have debated the miraculous nature of the order of the Quran. However, the Quran is of importance as a message-focused text regarding which linguistics strives to examine order in levels of words, ayahs, Surahs and the entirety of the Quran, which is done with an interpersonal method serving to establish and maintain social relations and with a textual function method in which the function of language is to produce oral or written texts. The purpose of the present study is to depict the evolution of the concept of order throughout history and to suggest a true and tangible concept of order in the Quran by listing different viewpoints and through an intra-textual and analytical-descriptive method.

Image schema is one of the cognitive mechanism in the field of cognitive semantics that has a conceptual framework and an underlying metaphorical substruction. This cognitive mechanism decodes new meanings and increases the content of the principal purpose of the text. In the Quran, understanding the concepts of values and anti-values of ethics training have been modeled in the forms of volume, motion and force image schemata. The present article aims to analyze the conceptualiztion of the ethics training ayahs with the image schemata mechanism based on a descriptive-analytical method in to present a comprehensive picture of a perfect human and his indicators. The most important approaches in this article is the expression of the originality of interpretation in the Quran and highlighting the secret linguistics meanings the ethics training ayahs. It must be mentioned that the two demertis of “stinginess” and “imputation” have been depicted in the form of the two volume-force schemata of “chain” and “heavy weight” which invoke unpleasant scenes. The downward motion-directional schema of a “quenched fire” has been used for the merit of “supressing anger” to invite humans to overcome it as the conceptualiztion of anger in an upward direction would lead to unfortunate physical-mental consequenses.

The Quran is undoubtedly a holy book that has been revealed to lead mankind and to present the proper way of living and attainting perfection. Furthermore, it this book which enjoys the most eloquent and subtle styles of expression. It is clear that examining these methods and styles would lead to a better understanding of the ayahs of the Quran. One such method that which has been widely used in the Quran is that of metaphor. The translators of the Quran must strive to appropriately render these metaphors through an adequate awareness of the concept of metaphors and by referring to the comments of rhetoric scholars and interpreters and researchers of the Quran, as well as employing suitable translation methods. The present study was designed to review the methods for translating metaphors in some of the most famous contemporary Persian translations of the Quran: Makarem Shirazi, Meshkini, Garmaroudi, Fooladvand, Moezzi, Safarzadeh, Ghomsheei, Ansariyan, Sadeghi Tehrani, and Khoramshahi. A few ayahs of the Quran appear to violate famous rules of syntax for which different syntacticians have tried to provide explanations. However, the enemies of Islam have taken advantage of this fact, suggesting that the Quran is not a divine book, that it was written by a human being and, as a result, it has many syntactic mistakes. This paper, via a descriptive-analytical method, seeks to provide a sound explanation for the diacritical marks of the abovementioned Quranic words. Having reviewed and criticized opposing views as well as great syntacticians’ views and readings of the Quran, the present study reached the following conclusions: None of the objections raised by the opposing side are acceptable insofar as they are all based on the language rules and conventions of pre-Islamic Arabia in its days of Jahiliyyah (ignorance) and, thus, can be explained by linguistic justifications. There is no historical account of any objection about the diacritical marks of Quranic words in the early days of Islam, especially before the emigration of the Prophet, by a pre-Islam rhetorician such as Mughira from among the enemies of Islam. Those who have found fault with the diacritical marks of Quranic words are from among the disbelievers, Christians and Orientalists; they either do not specialize in Arabic or are unaware of its subtleties. The goal of the enemies is to raise doubts among Muslims about their divine scripture.

The quality of revelation and manifestation of the Holy Quran is an important matter in Quranic sciences which was questioned by Muslims and Jews from the beginning of the revelation of the Quran, and certain ayahs were revealed to offer clarification regarding this issue. However, the appearance of some of ayahs of the Quran proves a sudden revelation of the Quran at the night of the Decree (Laylatol al-Qadr) which is not compatible with some other verses as well as historical facts. Throughout history, interpreters have strived to find unity between the two sets of ayahs – some have rejected the sudden revelation and clarified its ayahs, and some have explained its nature in light of certain narratives. By giving a detailed account of and criticizing previous ideas and through employing the ayahs of the Quran, the present paper aims to clarify regarding the nature of sudden revelation of the Quran and to resolve doubts concerning this matter.
