This study analyzes the conceptual network of political hadiths in al-Kulaynī’s al-Kāfī and examines the capacity of digital humanities for Imāmī hadith studies. The article addresses a central problem: political concepts in al-Kāfī are not collected in a single chapter, but are dispersed across the work in relation to imamate, wilāya, obedience, right, justice, oppression, adjudication, governance, enjoining good and forbidding wrong, and social reform. Thus, while linear and chapter-based reading remains necessary for understanding individual reports, it cannot by itself reveal the macro-structure of relations among these concepts. Using an interdisciplinary and data-driven approach, the study treats political concepts extracted from al-Kāfī as network nodes and their co-occurrence, thematic, and semantic relations as network links. This article presents the digital output through a final network graph, a table of narrative focal points, an analysis of intermediary concepts, and cluster analysis. The findings show that political concepts in al-Kāfī are organized into four major clusters, connected by intermediary concepts such as right, adjudication, oppression, and enjoining good and forbidding wrong. The study concludes that politics in al-Kāfī is not limited to the administration of power, but is understood in relation to religious guidance, divine legitimacy, justice, right, critique of oppression, social responsibility, and public reform. Digital humanities, when accompanied by fiqh al-ḥadīth and sustained return to textual context, can function as a complementary tool for uncovering hidden conceptual structures in the Imāmī hadith heritage. It therefore proposes a methodological model linking computational analysis, hadith interpretation, and Imāmī political theology.
